IB Business Analyst (location: Poland or Finland)

In this role you will be responsible for translating business needs into clear and concise requirements, ensuring use cases are understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders. Joining the Tools & Application team in ABB Motion Services (MOSE), you will have a key role in an on-going program to shape legacy installed base solutions to one of the core authoritative data sources of asset lifecycle management solution. You would take a lead IB Business Analyst role in MIB (Motion Installed Base) program, providing leadership and direction to IS Business Analysts working on projects related to the program. This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Poland or Finland.
Your responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders from various business processes cross Motion divisions to gather, analyze and document business requirements for projects and initiatives- Translate business needs into clear and concise requirements, use cases and user stories that can be easily understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business requirements and objectives
- Participate in solution design, providing valuable input and feedback to ensure the development of effective and efficient solutions
- Facilitate communication and foster strong relationships between business and technical teams, acting as a liaison to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and requirements
- Collaborates closely with IS Service Owner and IS Domain Owner in the definition of costs and estimates efforts with Solution Architect for IS solution/services development, change requests and releases
- Guide and mentor other business analysts in the team, ensuring best practices are followed and facilitating effective communication between business and IT stakeholders
Your background
- 3+ years of experience as a functional and/or business analyst, preferably within the Installed Base domain
- Data analysis skills, with a keen interest in further developing these skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor others
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
