Wärtsilä Shared Service Center is looking for a Senior Accountant to join Payments team for a temporary position of 18 months.

Location for the position is Vaasa, Finland.As Senior Accountant, Payments, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Daily tasks include executing supplier and travel re-imbursement payments and accounting of bank statement transactions.
- Period end closing activities related to payments and accounts receivable.
- Improving and streamlining payments process by effective and active teamwork.
- Short term liquidity management and cash management activities
- Participating in development projects related to improving and optimising accounts receivable and payment handling activities
- Supporting and helping other Wärtsiliäns with their issues related to Payments team area of responsibility.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business Economics or similar
- Advanced English and Chinese, other languages are seen as advantage
- Experience of working in Shared Service Center
- Relevant experience in accounting is seen as advantage
- Understanding and expertise in SAP FI module, SwiftNet, In-House Cash payment process and Cash Management
- Open-minded and agile personality
- Flexibility and good team working skills
- Positive attitude and pro-active thinking
