We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to our R&D team
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will work as electronics lead designer in new product development projects, such as designing a new generation of control systems. Your role will be to act as lead designer who will orchestrate the collective insights of the team, leveraging your vision and decision-making abilities to determine the best design solutions.
Your primary responsibility is electronics design from start to finish in the projects; for example, specification, circuit board schematics and layout design, component selection, testing, and co-operating with production.
You can work in our Vantaa, Kotka or Muurame offices. We have a flexible hybrid working model.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Minimum of five years of work experience in hardware design
- Preferably understanding of building automation or related standards
- Proficiency with hardware design tools such as Altium Designer
- Positive attitude and being self-starter and action-oriented
- Good communication skills in English and Finnish
- Broad knowledge and understanding of software and mechanical design, 230V products and wireless technologies is an advantage
